Alternative Dispute Resolution (ODR)

EU Online Dispute Resolution Platform Information

In accordance with the EU Consumer ODR Regulation (524/2013), businesses selling online are obligated to provide consumers with access to the European Commission's official Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.

1. What is the ODR Platform?

ODR (Online Dispute Resolution) is an official EU platform that allows online shopping disputes between consumers and sellers within the EU to be resolved online, out of court.

3. Application Process

  1. The consumer initiates an application on the ODR platform in their own language.

  2. The parties attempt to agree on an independent dispute resolution body.

  3. The resolution process is conducted entirely online and is usually concluded within 90 days.
